About the event
Overall Concept: "A normal life with special attention"
The goal is to demystify the disease, combat stigma and convey a message of hope by showing that with proper care, people with hemophilia can lead fulfilling lives.
Video Sequence Structure (Total Duration: ~2 min 30 sec)
Background music: A soft, inspiring and slightly rhythmic melody, common to all versions, without lyrics so as not to interfere with the dialogues.
This initiative is being implemented by Professor Léon Tshilolo, pediatrician and director of the 1-Santé Biomedical Research Institute, a research center established at CEFA/Monkole in Kinshasa, and Professor Jean Lambert Gini Ehungu of the University Clinics of Kinshasa; with support from the Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation. The initiative relies on a decentralized awareness strategy to effectively reach more patients, particularly those facing significant travel challenges in a country as vast as the DRC, thereby facilitating access to hemophilia diagnosis and treatment.
