About the event
The Scientific Council of the NGO Drep.Afrique is organizing the fifth International Francophone Forum on Dréoanocytosis in African countries (FIFDA 2025) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Universal Time (10:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.).
The objective of this forum is to offer quality training via webinars to as many healthcare professionals as possible, not necessarily specialists in the disease, particularly those working in Africa.
The target audience is broad: physicians (primary care or specialists), pharmacists, nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, psychologists, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians; patient associations, civil society... It will be held via live videoconference in French. Click here to register . The presentations will be led by sickle cell disease specialists from Africa and Europe.

Our scientific advisory board wishes to gain a better understanding of the practices and challenges faced by transfusion services in Africa . This descriptive work will be very useful in guiding policy and also in tailoring the messages conveyed during our Inter-University Diploma (DIU) courses and at FIFDA 2025. This questionnaire should only take about 20 minutes to complete. It is intended solely for physicians practicing in Africa . Click here to access it: https://forms.gle/3hffBuyWVRTYvvVU6
